... themes related to ecology and the preservation of biodiversity.
The children of today will be the citizens of tomorrow, which is why it is essential to transmit to them from an early age important values such as the protection of the environment and animals. It is on the basis of this observation that Janod has chosen to work alongside WWF, one of the first independent organizations for the protection of the environment in the world, to develop WWF games for the little ones.
The objective of this collaboration is to make children aware of the importance of protecting the environment, by transmitting to them playfully key messages on the preservation of biodiversity.
To do this, Janod has designed a range of eco-responsible games in partnership with WWF, which includes puzzles, board games and early learning games.
For every product sold in this collection, Janod donates 7% of the sale price to WWF to support the NGO's efforts through 2026, with a minimum guaranteed contribution of €50,000 each year.
The toys in this collection are made from more sustainable materials: FSC-certified wood and cardboard, an eco-label that ensures the wood comes from responsibly managed forests, vegetable-based ink, water-based paint and organic cotton. But this collaboration does not only concern the choice of raw materials. Some of the games developed with WWF deal with themes centered on recycling, wind turbines, endangered species, wild animals... Build a wind turbine as a family, create a puzzle featuring renewable energies and recycling actions, introduce to your child the fragility of an ecosystem through a wooden balancing game or rediscover the famous game of 7 families based on the theme of endangered animals.
Through this range of games in partnership with WWF, Janod wishes to inspire the younger generation and make them want to mobilize for wildlife and nature!
